Cool the Skin: Apply a cold compress or take a cool bath. Avoid using ice directly on the skin to
prevent further irritation.

Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help rehydrate your skin and body. Sun exposure can lead to
dehydration, which can worsen skin irritation.

Moisturize: Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer. Look for products containing aloe vera or
soy, which can soothe and cool the skin. Apply often to prevent skin from drying.

Avoid Harsh Products: Do not use harsh soaps, exfoliants, or products containing alcohol, as
these can further irritate the skin.

Avoid Further Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun until your skin has healed. If you need to go
outside, wear protective clothing and a wide-brimmed hat, and use a high SPF sunscreen. It is
always recommended you use SPF 30 or higher.
